Being Milford

𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 tells the story of a mother’s love for her child who has muscular dystrophy, a condition causing progressive muscle weakness. Tim’s mother connects with him through his childhood teddy-monkey named Milford. Through his growing up years, Milford is a source of comfort, strength and encouragement for Tim in confronting life’s challenges and to live his life fully.

Every parent raising a child with special needs will appreciate the struggles and from time to time, shed a tear for who our child might have been. By being present, and persistent in our love, our special children can be themselves and lead happy and fulfilling lives, regardless of their disabilities.
